Hassle-free parking – Parking assist warns you audibly of any obstructions around your vehicle and it will even seek out a suitable parking spot for you. It will then park your car in a parallel or perpendicular parking spot practically by itself.
The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) maintains a safe distance from the vehicle ahead at a selected speed, controlling the engine and actuating the brakes to automatically accelerate or decelerate as needed. The system combines the cruise control system with a radar-based distance controller.

SCALA’s attention to safety has also been inspired by higher end-cars. The car comes complete with a plethora of advanced driver assist systems, up to 9 airbags and eCall. The maximum 5-star rating underlines top safety level for the ŠKODA SCALA.
Blind Spot Detect helps the driver to change lanes safely by registering any vehicles in the blind spot. Two radar sensors located in the lower part of the rear bumper monitor the area beside and up to 20 metres behind the Škoda Scala.
Keeping you alert – Whenever you’re driving at more than 65 km/h the intelligent Fatigue Detection monitors movement in the power-assisted steering. If it detects any abnormal driver behaviour it warms you that you might be getting tired and recommends a break.
The Front Assist is a collision-alert safety system. Faced with an unavoidable collision, it applies the brakes to minimise the consequences. Front Assist works with a radar sensor integrated into the radiator grille, constantly monitoring the distance from the traffic ahead.
Always on the right track – Lane Assist keeps your vehicle inside the lane. If your car comes too close to one of the lane markings, the system uses active steering to adjust your position and alerts you with a visual warning, helping you to prevent collision.
