The dynamic and emotive nature of the Kodiaq is best emphasised by the SportLine version. The car offers an aesthetic experience as well as pure driving pleasure, making the everyday even more exceptional.
Dynamic front
The black features, such as external side-view mirror covers, front grille frame and spoiler on the front bumper, give the car a unique look combining the ferocious expression of the KODIAQ with the individualistic traits of the SportLine version.
Sporty rear
The narrow silver coloured trim integrated in the lower part of the rear bumper lends visual lightness to the robust rear. The exhaust pipe end pieces in chrome finish are a perfect match with the black protective cover. The rear lights with crystalline elements and familiar C-shaped illumination are always equipped with LEDs.
Sportline badge
The car features the original SportLine badge on both front wings.
Lots of colours to choose from
Metallic Velvet Red is not the only body colour available for your KODIAQ SPORTLINE. Take your pick of many other shades to find the one that suits you best.
An upper-class level of space
With the new seven-seat KODIAQ, not only can seven people ride around in maximum comfort, you also have 270 litres of luggage space, 630 litres with the third row seats folded and 2,005 litres with second and third row folded.
Turbocharged engines
The new KODIAQ SPORTLINE is available in 132kW turbocharged TSI Petrol and 140kW TDI Diesel engines. The TSI engine guarantees outstanding dynamism, high performance and is exceptionally quiet running. The 140TDI engine has a combination of high power, optimum torque and low fuel consumption.

Steering wheel
Multifunctional sports steering wheel in the Kodiaq SportLine is a command centre at your hands: pick your favourite song, make the important phone call, browse through onboard computer and many more. The steering wheel can optionally be heated, and fitted with DSG automatic transmission controls.
Sports seats
The Kodiaq SportLine interior’s is rendered entirely in black – not just the dashboard, door panels and carpeting. Even the ceiling is upholstered in black. Exclusive, distinctively shaped sports seats evoke the right sporty atmosphere and hold the body perfectly while driving. The electrically-adjustable driver seat is supplied as standard. LED lighting with adjustable colour and intensity, adorns the foot wells, doors and dashboard.
Dynamic chassis control with driving mode select
Standard equipment in NZ, Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) with Driving Mode Select allows you to customise the vehicle’s handling to your personal preferences. By pressing a single button, you transform the Kodiaq SportLine from a comfortable carriage to a master of sporty lanes. For example, in the Sport mode the suspension is more rigid and the electronic assists are more acute, delivering a faster response.
Automatic DSG transmission
The Kodiaq SportLine can be fitted with 6- or 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. You can switch from standard smooth shifting to the S (Sport) mode, which will wring the maximum from your Kodiaq SportLine. Launch Control allows you to make a standing start as though you were in pole position.
Canton sound system
Alcantara®, which stands out with its distinctiveness and excels with its durability, is also incorporated in the door panelling. Stylish details are accompanied with stylish technologies. The Canton Sound System with ten speakers and total power output of 575 Watts comes as standard.
All-wheel drive
The Kodiaq SportLine can be fitted with 4×4 drive. The smart all-wheel drive system works entirely automatically. The control unit constantly calculates the optimal distribution of torque to both axles so as to prevent loss of vehicle control.
Front assist with city emergency brake
A car that senses danger ahead? Now that’s clever. Front Assist with City Emergency Brake+ uses a radar sensor to monitor the risks in front of you, alert you of any hazards, and will even brake on its own to help avoid a collision.

Side assist – blind spot detection
The new KODIAQ SPORTLINE sees things you don’t. Side Assist (Blind Spot Detection)**+ available with the optional Luxury Pack helps you change lanes safely by letting you know when a vehicle is in your blind spot. If so, an LED symbol in the side mirror will light up, and start flashing once you indicate.

Passenger protect assist
The new KODIAQ SPORTLINE can anticipate a collision. Now that’s Simply Clever. Passenger Protect Assist uses information from the car’s braking and electronic system to ready for impact when there is a high chance of collision. In such an event, the front seat belts will tighten and the sunroof (if equipped) and windows will close to keep you in the best position for airbag deployment.
Nine airbags
We hope you never need the nine airbags that come standard in every KODIAQ SPORTLINE. Located at the front, front side, rear side, curtain, and driver’s knee area, they help protect you and your loved ones in the event of a collision.
Rear view camera
Some forward thinking for when you’re going backwards. The Rear View Camera+ engages as soon as you choose reverse and the picture is shown on the infotainment display. While dynamic guidelines help steer you in any tricky parking situations.

Rear traffic alert
The new KODIAQ SPORTLINE always has your back. When you’re reversing, Rear Traffic Alert**+ available with the optional Luxury Pack recognises vehicles approaching from the sides and alerts you with an acoustic signal. If necessary, the brakes are automatically applied to help prevent any collision.

Wireless charging
In the centre console, in the bottom of the storage compartment will now allow charging of your smartphone using the Qi Wireless standard. Available with the optional Tech Pack. Overseas Model Shown.
Adaptive cruise control
Just when you thought cruise control couldn’t get any smarter, along comes the new KODIAQ SPORTLINE. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)+ features a radar sensor on the front grille, allowing it to automatically brake and accelerate to a speed and distance set by you – ensuring a safe buffer between you and the car in front.

Columbus navigation
Everything is at your fingertips in the new KODIAQ SPORTLINE. The Columbus 3D navigation system features easy-to-use touch controls on an 9.2” glass display. The device offers many functions including Bluetooth, SmartLink^^ vehicle set up and much more.
^^SmartLink is compatible for selected apps with the latest smartphone versions of iOS and Android, active data service, and connection cable (sold separately).
Traffic jam assist
Always stay relaxed, even when in a jam. Traffic Jam Assist**+ available with the optional Luxury Pack is designed to keep you calm in traffic jams. By controlling the engine, brakes and steering, it makes the vehicle firstly pull away, then brake and turn – allowing you to enjoy spending time in the KODIAQ SPORTLINE at all times.

Surround area-view
You have eyes in the back of your head with the Surround Area-View**+ available with the optional Luxury Pack. There are four cameras located in the grill, side-view mirrors and the handle of the 5th door that sense the space around the entire vehicle. All pictures are then displayed on the infotainment system which can help you react quicker to whatever comes your way.

Automatic parking assist
If you want to make parking easier than ever, say hello to Automatic Parking Assist**+ available with the optional Luxury Pack. With the touch of a button, the system will begin searching for a parking space in a line of cars. When a suitable sized space is found, the car will steer itself into the space whilst the driver controls the pedals.
